A Visual History: How the Nike Roshe Run Became the Definitive Lifestyle Sneaker

Think about it.

Sneakers changed footwear forever.

No, really.

First of all, if sneakers didn’t exist, you wouldn’t be reading this spectacular post. But also, you’d probably be somewhere in a bland world where everyone wore boots, or *shudders* dress shoes. You wouldn’t have the luxury of molded canvas, rubber, leather, and mesh to comfort your feet after a long day. You wouldn’t have buttery suede, super futuristic Flyknit material or even Air bubbles underneath your feet to cushion the blow from walking, running or jumping around. Sneakers had to be invented out of necessity, and have since been what’s likely the best invention since televisions in bathroom stalls.

Now, think about what your life would be like without certain sneakers; the staples of modern footwear, if you will. There are certain pairs of kicks that one must have, even if they’re just a casual consumer. They’re the definitive lifestyle sneakers that can be worn with a pair of jeans, shorts, khakis, and sometimes a suit. They’re the sneakers that are universally comfortable, the sneakers that speak to who you are without you saying it.

This week at Champs Sports, we bring to you a new colorway of a recently cemented classic shoe, the Roshe Run from Nike. Available in a new, tweaked design, the Roshe Fade continues to ensure that the Roshe model isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
