We’re watching history. Some of that is obvious–the Warriors are off to the best start in NBA history, an official NBA record, and look like legitimate candidates to challenge the ’95-96 Bulls record of 72 regular season wins. But the rest of it might not be obvious for the casual basketball fan.
Not since Allen Iverson in 2001 can I remember a single player dominating the culture of basketball so thoroughly. Seriously, from the commercials to the video games to the sneakers to the action on the court, Stephen Curry is in the midst of turning in his second straight “perfect” season. Iverson, in my mind, nearly did it during his MVP year with the Philadelphia 76ers. But to do it two years in a row? That’s incredible.
And now Under Armour is coming through again with another solid colorway for the Curry Two. Available now at all Champs Sports stores, the “Suit & Tie” edition sports a white and black “suit” style, along with slight red accents. Details related to the name of the shoe also find their way onto the inside of the tongue. It’s a dope colorway for a sneaker that’s proving to be one of the best performers of the year within the basketball world.
Stephen Curry and Under Armour couldn’t have asked for a better start to this year and the “Suit & Tie” Curry Two edition keeps it all rolling. Grab the latest colorway now if you want a part of history.
