Under Armour isn’t all the way in on Curry Two SZN quite yet. While Stephen Curry‘s latest colorways for the Curry Two are some of the more inspired ones we’ve seen all year from UA, the brand is still dropping the low-top of his original signature sneaker from last year.
All in all, the Curry One was a success, the tipping point in what became a perfect year for Steph and the brand. They rolled out a number of memorable colorways and solid storytelling to go with it, in addition to a performance shoe that was generally considered one of the best basketball products of the year. But the shoe would’ve never moved the industry’s needle the way it did without Curry’s incredible rise from solid NBA All-Star to the best player in the world and NBA Finals MVP.
Available tomorrow at Champs Sports is the “SC30 Select Camp” edition for the low-top Curry One, a shoe that was originally meant to be a camper exclusive for anyone who attended the SC30 Select Camp this past June in the Bay Area. (Too bad for all of us–only the “top 20 guards in the world” were invited.) Though it’s now releasing for all Curry fans, it’ll likely only be available in select numbers.
The shoe itself features a wild colorway, with a teal/Hyper Green upper contrasted by the orange along the outsole, inner lining, tongue, and branding. The shoe also features metallic silver along the mudguard and purple is used at the midsole, lacing, and on the tongue.
It’ll certainly be a difficult piece to find a full fit for, considering the colors, but if you are able to find something that goes well with it? The “SC30 Select Camp” Under Armour Curry One Low could be a killer. Just like the player.
