Just like his game, Stephen Curry‘s first signature sneaker with Under Armour has been amazing this year, and every colorway just seems to get even better. The latest releases look super dope.
The Under Armour Curry One “Scratch” and “Persian” editions are available now at Champs Sports and they’re definite must-cops. After dropping some awesome low-top silhouettes, UA and the team reverted back to what made this shoe such a hit this year with the “Persian” colorway. It features Charged Cushioning which shifts between hard and soft coverage. The Anafoam upper provides a tight fit and lateral support, while the one-piece, solid herringbone rubber outsole is perfect for on-court use. The grey tones along the upper of this are hot, and the Persian accenting on the branding and tongue give this one some splashes of color.
The second release is being called the “Golf” edition with a green-based upper and some lime accenting. A limited release, this one continues the outstanding series of Curry One Lows that we’ve seen so far.
These should be some of the top UA Basketball releases of the season and will see some significant love from collectors all over the world.
Despite winning the NBA championship this year in convincing fashion, the Warriors have faded from the center spotlight during this summer offseason. Everyone is talking about the San Antonio Spurs and their big offseason. Everyone is talking about the incredible saga that was the DeAndre Jordan courtship by the Mavericks and Clippers. Golden State, almost casually, just brought all of their main cogs back, sliding under the radar. You can’t say the same for Curry’s sig sneaker, which has released to widespread success and buzz, building momentum throughout the year through increasingly amazing colorways. UA will have it difficult trying to top this one next year but, for now, they don’t need to worry. You’re looking at one of the sneaker MVPs of the past year.
