The Prequel: November Sneaker Release Dates That You Can’t Miss

  • Under Armour Curry Two Father to Son

    Chris Gosling

Under Armour Curry Two "Father to Son"

    Release Date: November 6

The Curry Two has come just in time for the NBA season and it seems like it’ll be an incredible on-court sneaker. Just as Kevin Durant has his Weatherman theme, it now appears the concept behind Stephen and his NBA-playing father will play itself out over multiple sneakers. It helps that this Charlotte-based colorway might be my favorite of all.

  • adidas D Rose 6

    Chris Gosling

    adidas D Rose 6 "Away"

    Release Date: November 6

The Rose line isn’t quite what it used to be in terms of hype, but both the player and the actual silo are still very solid. This year’s D Rose 6 looks like it’ll toe the crossover/lifestyle line much closer than many of his past models have. With the Boost technology and crazy detailing on the heel, I’m extremely intrigued.

  • Nike LeBron 13

    Chris Gosling

Nike LeBron 13 "Friday the 13th"

    Release Date: November 13

Just like every ‘Bron signature shoe, the 13 will pick up steam as the season goes on. So, if you consider yourself a sneaker connoisseur maybe you should jump on some of these early colorways before anyone else does? I love the theme here, and the red “blood” splashes are perfectly contrasted by the white upper.

These are now officially called the “Horror Flick.”

  • Air Jordan 7

    Chris Gosling

Air Jordan 7 "Nothing But Net"

    Release Date: November 14

I’m a sucker for 1990s fashion and the detailing on this retro mimics the original apparel collection that dropped with the Air Jordan VII back in the day. Hopefully, you can remember (or at least have seen tapes) of Michael Jordan‘s Barcelona run with the Dream Team…or the commercial with Larry Bird.

Radical, with an all-black tongue? This is somewhat of a makeover for a classic sneaker.

    Nike Air Max 2016

    Release Date: November 19

The Air Max 2016 is dropping in six colorways–three for each sex–in everything from all-black offerings to gorgeous light blues and mango. With the branding along the forefoot and the more subtle inclusion of Dynamic Flywire, this should be a fun release for any longtime fans of the series.

    Nike KD 8 "PG County"

    Release Date: November 25

Kevin Durant is notorious for paying homage to his upbringing within his sneaker line. And PG County (that’s Prince George’s)┬áin Maryland is where it all started for him. The streets and courts there shaped him and those details come to fruition in this model. This will be one of the best performance shoes of the season.

Official images of the colorway have yet to release but considering how fly the KD 8 has looked so far in everything, we’re betting these’ll be fire.

  • Air Jordan 8 Aqua

    Chris Gosling

    Air Jordan 8 "Aqua"

    Release Date: November 27

One of the greatest sneakers ever made in the Jordan line. On its own, the VIII was unique. It was heavier. It featured a wild “Flower Power” emblem on the tongue. And it had straps looping across the sneaker. But add in this unique colorway, one that MJ wore during the 1993 NBA All-Star Game, and the “Aqua” became a definitive lifestyle piece for any true shoehead.

A Black Friday special, this will be one of the biggest drops of the year. Be ready.

Every year we look forward to Black Friday, especially if we studied up ahead of time and know exactly what to look for. For sneakerheads, it’s even more imperative that you do your homework beforehand. Through the past few years, this shopping holiday has morphed into a sneakerhead’s paradise, a day when some of the most noteworthy releases drop to frenzied crowds.

This year, it isn’t just the end of the month that’ll be bringing the heat. Throughout November, we’ll see dope colorways for some of the game’s greatest lines. Stephen Curry came correct this year with the Under Armour Curry Two and this month we’ll see a continuation of his unique “Father to Son” colorway. Among other point guards, Derrick Rose and adidas are dropping a Chicago-themed joint while Kevin Durant and LeBron James hold it down for the wing players with a couple of super unique drops. The classic Nike Air Max series also gets a 2016 edition in six (!) different launch colorways.

But the biggest brand on the month, again, has to be the Jumpman. We have the “Aqua” Air Jordan VIII coming back to a massive following but then we also have a brand new colorway for the Jordan VII that plays off of the sneaker’s original apparel collection.

As we said, Black Friday is always important for sneakerheads, but the rest of November has some heat coming as well. These are the November Sneaker Release Dates That You Can’t Miss. Check them out.
