Are you ready for the return of a classic Air Jordan sneaker? How about new training models from Under Armour? Or what about some fresh gear from Nike to get you through one of the hottest months of the year?
Today, we’re introducing the second episode of The Drop video series, which will feature all of that as well as a conversation with our special guest Eddie Lacy, the Pro Bowl running back from the Green Bay Packers. Lacy is one of the NFL’s toughest and most rugged backs, piling up over 2,300 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground through the first two years of his career. He’s also a character, turning in one hilarious anecdote after another on social media. Put all of this together, fit him with some dope UA gear, and stick him on one of the game’s best offenses and you have the recipe for a player who is going to dominate headlines for a long, long time.
As for the sneakers, I think it’s no secret that this month’s gear has to revolve around the re-release of the Air Jordan VII “Bordeaux,” a sneaker with a deep historical impact and a strong connection to Bugs Bunny and Warner Bros. From there, we also spotlight the Flow Ballistic and the SpeedForm Phenom, both of which are Under Armour trainers that should get you through even some of the toughest offseason training drills.
You’ll be able to find future episodes of The Drop both here on the blog and on the Champs Sports official YouTube page. Stick with the series to see which featured guest will be on the show next and, if you want to get involved, tag your sneaker pictures on Instagram with the hashtag #MyGameMondays for a chance to be included in a future episode.
Sneakers. Swagger. Style. It’s all here in The Drop, Episode 2.
