The 10 Best Plays Of NBA Summer League So Far

  • Nerlens Noel's First Touch

The fade shall be administered. Nerlens Noel, last year’s No. 6 pick, is finally on the court for competitive action for the Philadelphia 76ers. In his first summer league game and touch of the ball, he receives the deep post pass, uses some footwork, and slams it home.

  • Aaron Gordon Has The Floor

Former Arizona Wildcat Aaron Gordon was considered one of the best athletes in the draft, and now he’s in Orlando showing off that athleticism. Against Philadelphia, Aaron decides that he’s not going to bother with a swat, but rather he was going to just take the ball out of midair to deny his opponent with a transition, two-on-one bucket.

  • Drew To Honeycutt

Former D-League player and now Miami Heat newcomer Tyler Honeycutt has been putting in work in Israel, but now he’s ready to take his game to home soil. That is, of course, if he ever comes down from this half-court oop thrown from teammate Larry Drew.

  • Nick Johnson Yams

Houston’s second-round pick, Nick Johnson, was PAC 12 Player of the Year, as well as a First Team All-American. Against the Detroit Pistons, he decides to make Tim Ohlbrecht a star for all of the wrong reasons. Just peer at this one with your hand over your eyes.

  • Andrew Wiggins Jumps Out of the Gym

Wiggins has hops. We know that. But if he starts taking people off the dribble like this, and then jumping over them, it’s going to be scary. Remember, this was with future defensive stud Nerlens Noel trying to come in for the block.

  • C.J. Fair Delivers A Poster

C.J. Fair might’ve been a great college player at the ‘Cuse but he has a long road ahead of him to meet the same success in the NBA. This is a good start, however. Fair got out on the break and dropped the hammer on Bruno Caboclo in Las Vegas.
