From home runs in MLB to three-pointers in the NBA… to just about everything in the NFL, nowadays it isn’t just about making the big play but it’s having something in you to finish. By finish, I mean celebrate. Sports are entertainment and even if some fans only want to see the fundamentals and sportsmanship, the rest of us enjoyed watching Sammy Sosa blowing kisses or Von Miller‘s “Eat Greedy” jig.

In the NBA, celebrating has a long history. Michael Jordan had his patented fist pump while Larry Johnson set New York City aflame with his LJ sign. But as fun as those were, no one is topping Antoine Walker‘s shimmy/wiggle. The longtime Boston Celtics forward broke out various forms of the shimmy throughout his career, and even when his game started to drift and fall apart with Miami, the shimmy never wavered.

Today, on Walker’s 38th birthday, we’re celebrating 10 of the NBA’s best current celebrations.
