The Most Swagged-Out Players in the NFL

  • Cam Newton
    Cam Newton

Superman Cam has to be on this list, not only for his signature touchdown dance — which can’t be pulled off unless you own a requisite amount of swag — and not only for the way he plays, but also how he shuts it down in almost every postgame press conference. The one issue that docked him points? That time earlier this year when he rocked the pink sports coat and the heinous capri pants. That was crossing the line, Cam, but you have so much history that we can forget about that one.

  • Victor Cruz
    Victor Cruz

There’s not much we can say about Cruz that you don’t already know. He rocks just about every high-end, high-status brand out there, from Jordans to Balenciaga and Saint Laurent. The dude is a true sneakerhead, once telling Esquire that, “I actually was a big Dallas Cowboys fan growing up. Deion Sanders was one of my favorite players. I had his jersey and wanted his shoes — the Nike Diamond Turf Two’s.”

Do yourself a favor and start following him, especially since he’s out for the year with a torn patellar tendon and has plenty of time to cop even more kicks.

  • Robert Griffin III
    Robert Griffin III

RG3 has so much swagger that people actually criticize him for it, saying he cares too much about himself, won’t change up his game, believes he’s above the team. Griffin III is currently hurt, again, but if he’s on the field or not, the dude is always sporting a fresh suit.

  • Tom Brady
    Tom Brady

Brady doesn’t have swag in the stereotypical sense — fly sneakers, dope outfits, an outlandish personality that lets him say or do just about anything. He’s just the coolest cat on the field at all times, with a beautiful woman by his side, Super Bowl rings on his fingers, and an entire city on his back.

He also can pull off UGG shoes and just about any shirt and sweater you can think of. Teammate Darrelle Revis isn’t too bad, either.

  • Richard Sherman

He talks a lot. He backs it up. He wins. He’s the best in the game. And he knows how to rock a clean suit. No wonder Sherman has so many haters. Everyone is jealous!

Check him out on the ‘gram to see him rocking suits all over the place. It’s almost as if this is his go-to look. The bow tie puts it over the top and takes his game to the next level.

  • DeSean Jackson
    DeSean Jackson

This dude posts on Instagram nonstop — I’m talking multiple times a day. By the time you read this, he’ll have over 2,000 posts. And in almost all of them he’s swagging on everyone.

Fans of the game know Jackson is prime time television whenever he scores a touchdown, but did they know his sneaker game is also super dope? Washington’s finest is all about Jordans.

  • Darrelle Revis
    Darrelle Revis

It’s kind of funny following Revis’ Instagram page. He might have the best rotation of sneakers in the NFL and yet…the dude’s manager might outshine him. Either way, Revis has been super stylish for a long time coming, sporting the new-age European hipster look better than just about anyone else (and much better than Kanye.)

His sneakers are going to make you drool.

  • Colin Kaepernick
    Colin Kaepernick

The NFL’s best-dressed man? If that was a real award, Kaepernick probably takes it because he is always looking fresh, whether it’s in a suit at the ESPYs or just chilling with his homies. He has a big sneaker collection as well, consistently rocking heat on the ‘gram while wearing Jordans to big events like Super Bowl XLVII media day.

  • Joe Haden
    Joe Haden

Joe’s sneaker collection is beastly, plain and simple. In fact, if we’re talking about straight kicks, Cleveland’s corner might have the most of any football player on this list. Being from Ohio — or at least playing there — it’s no wonder Haden has a monster LeBron James collection.

  • Reggie Bush
    Reggie Bush

It’s a cliche to put Reggie Bush here, considering he’s been a star and a red carpet fixture for years, but you have to admit the dude just has a strong sense of style. It doesn’t matter if he’s dressed up or down, rocking wing-tips or kicks, the Lions running back knows exactly what works for him. That’s an underrated quality, especially when you can pull it off the way this guy does.

It doesn’t hurt that he’s still one of the league’s more electrifying players, either. Swag personified.

Because they wear all sorts of pads and gear, and helmets that almost completely cover their face and head, most fans probably never bother thinking about style in the NFL. It’s in stark contrast to the NBA, where players like Russell Westbrook and Dwyane Wade are known almost as much for their bizarre outfits as their All-Star play on the court. In football, it’s entirely about the game: face-less players playing more for the logo on the helmet rather than the name on the back of the jersey.

But that’s not to say these dudes don’t have style or swagger. We all know they have confidence — you can’t watch a game, see some of those insane end zone dances, and not understand these dudes have absurd amounts of confidence. Their swagger shines in off the field through press conferences, media appearances, and, of course, Instagram. On the ‘gram, the league has more than a few standouts, guys who are stunting every single day, rocking new sneakers and showing out. From Robert Griffin III to Joe Haden, there are more than a handful of monster sneakerheads.

The season is in full swing, quickly destroying preseason myths like how the Tampa Bay Bucs were going to be sleepers and how the Dallas Cowboys will never be good as long as Tony Romo is their quarterback.

As you get ready for another batch of games, and prepare yourself for another super quiet trade deadline, we’re breaking down The Most Swagged-Out Players in the NFL.
