10 Style Essentials You Must Cop Before School Ends

  • Jordan Eclipse
    Jordan Eclipse

    $109.99

Jordan’s answer to the Nike Roshe Run and other recent stripped-down silhouettes, the Eclipse is both affordable and dope, and while many of you could do worse than copping the original black version, I really love the new Bright Mandarin “Hare” colorway. No matter which one you grab, this is a great sneaker to wear every day during the summer.

    Jordan "What's Up Jock?" cap

    $34.99

As part of this month’s “Hare” collection from Jordan Brand, this snapback will make a perfect addition to your summer lineup. It sports a unique design and colors that’ll stick out with anything. Most importantly, though, it is inspired by a flashy concept.

  • adidas Originals Trefoil Tank
    adidas Originals Trefoil Tank

    $24.99

There are only a few months per year where rocking a shirt like this can be deemed acceptable, so take advantage of the 90-degree weather when you can. It’s not even about getting a tan. It’s also not always about showing off the work you’ve been putting in the gym. It’s just about staying casual and being confident, two things that always show through with a tank-top.

  • Jordan Raglan Top
    Jordan Raglan Top

    $44.99

I’m convinced that the raglan might be the most underutilized shirt on the market. It’s comfortable. It’s unique. It is versatile. And because so few people wear it, it’ll automatically help you standout. This summer, you should have a couple in your rotation.

  • Levi's Henley
    Levi's Henley

    $24.99

The thing that makes henleys so dope to wear in the summer is that you can basically wear them just as you would any T-shirt, except that they inevitably make you look a little older and a little wiser. They also hug your upper body so every girl is going to see all that work you’ve been putting in at the gym.

  • Nike Roshe Run Fade
    Nike Roshe Run Fade

    $79.99

One of the most impressive shoes to come out in the last decade, the Roshe Run got tricked out by three new “Fade” colorways for the summer, including the black and grey pair above. We’re not going to explain why you need this sneaker for the warm months. If you need us to, you’re in the wrong place.

  • Nike LeBron 12 Low
    Nike LeBron 12 Low

    $174.99

This summer, you’ll need a pair of kicks that you can play in both inside and out. These LeBron Lows can take a beating and yet they still look fresh in their new low-top form. The colorway is super hot, too.

  • adidas Tiro Training Pants
    adidas Tiro Training Pants

    $44.99

One of the hottest new looks. Ditch the jeans for the summer–in fact, there’s some evidence you might have to ditch the jeans for the foreseeable future, too–and go with something a little different while the rest of your boys rock the same pair of joggers that they’ve had for the past year.

Feeling that first week of 85-degree weather? Nothing better. Sundresses. Outdoor hoops. Ice cream trucks. Son, that’s like heaven right there. If you’re a high schooler, you’re rolling deep with your squad on Friday afternoons and making moves all over town. If you’re in college, well, life is basically perfect for those last few weeks before school lets out for the summer. Finals and tests and GPAs? Who cares? The sun is out, everyone’s rocking shades, and cats are outside throwing footballs around. Put the books down. (At least that’s how I dealt with it.)

The summer is a time for outdoor pickup runs and the flyest pool parties, weekends with the crew at the lake house, or early morning get-ups at the skate park. It seems like everyone is doing the same things and that’s part of the fun. You’ll run into people you haven’t seen in months, old teammates you haven’t noticed in years, cats who dissed you will be giving you dap, and acquaintances will become best friends. However, it’s also the best time of the year to separate your swag from everyone else’s because, just as everyone is chilling at the same spots, doing the same things, everyone’ll be wearing the same fits. Whether you’re in the city or ‘burbs won’t matter. To standout, pay extra attention to what you’re wearing.

By now, you hopefully know what trends are popping this year. From the Roshe Run still going strong with more colorways to a new collection from the Jordan Brand for the collaboration between Air and “Hare,” this will be a fun summer. Just make sure you’re prepared. Here are 10 Style Essentials You Must Cop Before School Ends.
