Around these parts, sneakers are pretty important. Your entire swag, your entire outfit, generally starts with your feet. When I wake up in the morning, it’s never about finding the right shoes to match with my look — it’s about picking out a pair of shoes based on both the weather and my current mood at the time, and then figuring out how I’m going to make it work from there.
That’s especially true in the spring, once the weather warms up and the snow melts.
However, to really go all out and go to the next level with your style, you really need to get the rest of your look up to the level of your sneaker game. Ask Lil Wayne about it. Ask Fashawn about it. From the snapbacks to the new bucket hats to fleece to track pants to all of the hottest gear currently available at Champs Sports, March is really the month to stock up on new trends. It’s the month to get ahead of the game. It’s the month to set your pace for the rest of the year. Like Kanye spit in his latest single “All Day,” you might even be shopping for Christmas right now, you never know.
This year will certainly be different than 2014. You can already feel a shift coming on the heels of NBA All-Star Weekend and Fashion Week in New York City, where Kanye West overshadowed virtually everyone else with the unveiling of his clothing line and his latest signature sneaker, the adidas Yeezy Boost. The game is changing once again and we all need to be ready for it. In that light, here are some Spring Wardrobe Essentials That Aren’t Sneakers.
