Say hello to the bad guy might be a good way of describing the way LeBron James dominated this postseason, especially in the NBA Finals where he averaged 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game. (Please read those numbers again.) He came into the gym every night knowing there was no one who could touch him, and then played like it, racking up numbers that defy just about every concept of team basketball.
However, though I’m sure some opposing fans got sick of seeing the King destroy their favorite team, there’s no denying everyone is going to love his newest sneaker. The next addition in the longtime Soldier series is the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 9. Featuring an innovative strap system that locks your foot down with a lightweight fit while stopping, starting, and changing direction, the Soldier 9 also sports Nike Zoom Air units, a hexagonal outsole pattern for multidirectional traction, and a textile upper with Flywire cables. It’s a shoe line that has actually played a part in many of LeBron’s greatest playoff moments, especially early in his career when the King regularly changed into the Soldier for his postseason runs with both the Cavaliers and even during his time in South Beach with the Heat.
The best part about this sneaker? It’s rugged enough to kill it outside, which is what you need now that the summer months are here and the pickup runs are getting deep. Get yourself ready for both surfaces with the latest from the best basketball player in the world.
