The summer is a great time to rock some solid colors. I’m not sure why, but showing up to the pool party or 4th of July party in some light-colored clothes with a strong, bold color on your feet is definitely the move every summer. During the colder months, you’re more apt to play with some colorways and wear some more radical designs…I guess because you normally don’t spend as much time working on the rest of your fit since you’re just trying to make it through the cold weather. But in the summer, keeping it fresh and simple is a great way to stand above and beyond the rest of the competition.
On sneakers, they can look especially dope if done right, such as here with the Nike Air Max 90. As part of Nike Sportswear’s Suede pack, available at Champs Sports for those of you looking to upgrade this summer, the classic Air Max 90 gets three distinct looks in red, navy blue, and black. All three shoes feature some hot suede uppers with white midsoles and grey branding.
The Air Max 90 originally released 25 years ago as the Air Max III and while everyone loved the unique silhouette it sported, it was the shoe’s use of Infrared that took it to another level…even if the original actually featured a somewhat different color called Hyvent Orange. Years later and everyone, from brands to customizers to designers, are emulating the Air Max 90’s most popular colorway. Add in the Air bubble and the varied and layered upper, and you have a shoe that cornered the market for lifestyle releases.
The Suede Pack from Nike Sportswear is dropping at the perfect time this summer, with three colorways that perfectly match the tone of the Air Max 90. See why for yourself.
