LeBron James might not be MVP on the court this season, considering Stephen Curry shuts down the Internet almost every night. But he is certainly still the MVP of the sneaker game in basketball circles. Now 13 signature silhouettes into his run with Nike, the King’s line continues to break barriers through its use of advanced performance technology across intriguing silhouettes.
Ever since it was unveiled in 2015, the LeBron 13 has produced some strong reactions from sneakerheads all over the community. With James, that’s always sort of been the point. His sneakers are bulldozers, big beasts sporting some of the most insane on-court technology possible…all because they have too considering LeBron’s freakish 6-8, 250-pound frame.
The latest colorway to drop at Champs Sports is called the “Midnight Navy” for obvious reasons. With a USA color scheme, the shoe’s blue upper is set off with Bright Crimson accents, a popping white midsole, and a translucent sole. Featuring a breathable mesh upper with Flywire and a sock-like fit, Hyperposite on the collar and heel, and the updated Air pods on the outsole, the LeBron 13 deserves a spot in every best-of list for its performance. There’s a reason why so many players across the NBA swear by it and will often wear the shoe in games, even if they’re playing against LeBron.
LeBron James continues to terrorize the NBA in more ways than one, and this year after signing a lifetime deal with Nike, his sneaker is still bringing the heat.
