Even with the Los Angeles Lakes struggling under .500 so far this season, Kobe Bryant still continues to win in almost every way. This season he is currently fourth in points per game (23.8). He also became the first NBA player to reach 30,000 points and 6,000 assists, and recently passed Michael Jordan on the NBA all-time scoring list. MICHAEL JORDAN! It’s safe to say that the Black Mamba’s legacy is intact. The same also can be said about his signature sneaker as well.
Now his line at Nike might not be as popular or mainstream as the LeBrons, but they are respected as such. Kobe’s signature line has been one of Nike’s premier sneakers in basketball over the past decade. They’ve seen several iterations and colorways that still keep us excited while keeping sneakerheads lined up around the block to grab a pair. Not only are they a delight to look at, they actually perform better than most basketball sneakers on the market.
Nike is gearing up to drop another installment to the popular Kobe 9 in a Gold/Red/Crimson colorway. This is the first time the shoe is getting the colorway, and with the Black Mamba breaking records and showing signs of vintage Kobe in each game, it’s safe to say that these will easily be an instant sell-out. The Kobe 9 “Gold/Red/Crimson” is available at Champs Sports, so don’t miss out.
