Almost everything out of OKC’s media day and subsequent training camp has been pretty ordinary. (Well…not counting a certain fractured foot, but we’re trying to forget about that one.) Head coach Scott Brooks called Russell Westbrook the best point guard in the league, but we kind of already figured he’d say something like that, and just about everything else has followed suit and gone according to plan. Outside of Steven Adams‘ new ‘stache — no Style Points for that one, dude — really the only thing that has caught out attention was Kevin Durant‘s kicks.
For media day, the league’s reigning MVP rocked a sick iD pair that was white-based, reminding us, again, that the Nike KD7 is going to be his best sneaker yet. It has the potential for awesome colorways and storytelling. It has the potential to work both on and off the court. And it has the potential to look good with both long, cuffed pants and shorts. That’s a triple play right there.
Today at Champs Sports we’re seeing yet another amazing colorway of the KD7 drop. This one features an all-jade upper with black accenting on the mid-foot strap, laces, inner lining, and midsole. In contrast to that, the sneaker really gets an extra pop with volt added along the tongue, Nike Swoosh branding, and outsole. It’s a perfect winter shoe because it’ll be a standout no matter how crummy the weather looks.
Volt has already been proven — statistically — to be the color that drives the most double-looks, so don’t miss out on this release. It’ll surely be a favorite among sneakerheads. Check below for a great look at this New Sneaker Release: Nike KD7 “Uprising” and hit Champs Sports for your pair.
