The New PUMA Roma and GV “3M” Sneakers Are Crazy

There are a couple of new colorways dropping from PUMA for the Roma and GV that are going to shut everything down.

This summer has been a great one so far for sneakers. We had the reveal of Kevin Durant‘s latest signature sneaker, the polarizing Nike KD 8. We got a special “MVP” colorway of the Under Armour Curry One for Stephen Curry. And we even got some low-top heat from legendary brand Jordan Brand, as they turned a longtime classic into something else entirely by giving it a modern twist. But right now, I’m partial to some of the cool concepts I’ve seen coming from PUMA, and the latest makeup for the classic Roma and GV sneakers is looking great.

Sometimes, 3M gets a bad rap. I still remember copping the “Green Bean” Air Jordan V retro back in the day and being seriously pissed that the whole thing was 3M. (Not sure why I still bought it.) But done right, it adds a new element and different contrast, and I think they work really well here as neither silhouette is particularly eye-catching in the traditional sense. The material, instead, makes up for that.

Hitting Champs Sports now, these must be a part of your collection this summer. Yes, another Jordan retro would be great. You can’t go wrong with that. Same thing with some of the other signature sneakers that are dropping in low-top versions now. But these joints are unique and fresh. Don’t miss out.
