The Most Stylish Celebrities of 2014 So Far

  • Scott Disick
    10. Scott Disick

Ever since Kanye joined the Kardashian family, Lord Disick’s style has grown extensively. If there was a most improved style award, Scott would surely take it. When he first came into the spotlight his wardrobe mainly consisted of custom fit suits and polos. Now he’s seen sporting light-washed denim jeans, Jordans, leather bottoms, and long-sleeved henley shirts. His new revamped look does strongly resembles Kanye’s relaxed, non-label flashy style, but hey, if it works it works, right?

    9. Pharrell Williams

Pharrell’s Vivienne Westwood hat and collection of Nick Fouquet headwear still make up some of the most talked about fashion accessories of the year. Since introducing it to the world at the 56th Grammy Awards, social media hasn’t stopped buzzing. Even well known celebrities like LeBron James have tried to pull it off, but no one does it justice like Pharrell. He’s known for taking risks. From large hats and feminine jewelry, to Uggs, his range of style is widespread and can’t be duplicated. Thats why his style is so respected and seen as influential.

  • John Mayer
    8. John Mayer

Mayer is like a walking, talking, singing Visvim ad, and that’s not a bad thing. We all wish we could afford to stunt Visvim from dusk til dawn, but those clothes are expensive. We’re not putting Mr. Mayer on the list just because he wears Visvim, but because of how he styles his outfits to complement his personality. From the bandanas and scarves, to the cardigans and denim jackets, he creates looks that closely reflect his “americana-esque” persona, music, and overall vibe. Just look at his album cover art for Paradise Valley, it’s a match made in heaven.

  • 7. Justin Timberlake

If we could choose any celebrity’s picture to put next to the word “dapper” in the dictionary, it would be JT. After his big comeback with The 20/20 Experience in 2013, Mr. Suit and Tie has developed a style that manages to be original and classic as once. It’s been a long time coming since his pop boy-band days.

    6. Drake

Drake is killing it in every shape and form this year. From two massive tours, to a majorly successful OVO Fest, and hosting the ever-entertaining ESPYs. Not only were his bits great, his style choices were ones to pay attention to. As of late, Drake’s style has greatly improved since his year of crazy sweaters in 2012. All black and white has been his go-to, and he helped make soccer kits a popular trend in streetwear. Much of this could be thanks to his stylist, Haley Wollens. His OVO clothing brand has become quite popular as well.

  • Jared Leto
    5. Jared Leto

The rocker/actor style seems to be caught between two worlds, but we mean that in a good way. He wears high-end brand names like Saint Laurent and Lanvin, staple designers for actors looking to stunt on the red carpet. Then he blends them nicely with rocker-esque apparel such as plaid shirts and skinny black jeans. Add in his god-level hair to the mix and Jared Leto can’t be stopped.

The relationship between athletes and fashion is a constant roller coaster. Some athletes try way too hard to stand out and end up looking like a circus act. Nonetheless, there are a few hidden gems in the sports world, and Victor Cruz is one of them. He takes risks, but ones that complement his overall steez. His style has range, which most people gravitate towards. He’s built a reputation for mixing haute couture and high end streetwear, solidifying himself as a leader in the style arena.

His look is a blend of hipster and European biker, and it creates a nice individual look for Beck. With his fashionista wife Victoria by his side, he’s winning styles points all across the board. • Kanye West
    2. Kanye West

No one does it better than Kanye. Every time he steps out the house he’s setting new trends. He’s great at finding pieces from unknown labels and making them fit his style. He knows exactly what works for him and is able to execute pretty much any look that he creates. His style has become more relaxed and subtle since becoming a family man, but he’s still never afraid to take big risks. From stunting in a fur jacket, sporting a leather shirt, to the way he layers his outfits, Kanye pulls it off effortlessly. With his APC collection a success, a much anticipated adidas collaboration dropping in November, we can only imagine the gems he dropped when he stopped by a Los Angeles Visual Communications class to give a guest lecture on style and life.

  • 1. A$AP Rocky

It’s been a while since we got new music from the A$AP Mob leader. Probably because he’s been too busy stunting in the fashion world. His effortless blend of high-end designer pieces and accessible streetwear have made him one of the most influential figures in style today. Whether he’s making surprise appearances in music videos or just taking a stroll in SoHo, Rocky is always looking flawless. He did, somehow, find time to link up with our favorite crooner Sam Smith for a remix of “I’m Not The Only One.” Style all around.

For the high school cat, it can be easy to lace yourself with the hottest sneakers. In this day and age, mirror your favorite athletes and cop those Jordans, cop those vintage ’90s Nike basketball kicks, cop those Stan Smiths. Just stick to the popular brands and silhouettes. It’ll be enough to get you some love on the ‘gram, as well as from that cutie in class. However, if you really want to go to the next level, you can’t stop at just the kicks.

That’s right. If you’re wearing some dad jeans and a wack t-shirt, or some dirty ankle socks and a belt that looks like it’s been through a paper shredder, chances are it won’t matter how many toothbrushes you’ve wasted on your kicks. An icy outsole won’t matter unless you have a slick jacket, or a dope snapback. That’s why it’s about time you started studying how athletes and entertainers do it. Sure, they have a lot of money — A LOT — but there are ways you can emulate them.

With 2014 coming to an end, we are taking a look back at the memorable fall/winter season of style. Travi$ Scott was the star of Mark McNairy’s NYFW show; Kanye West taught a fashion class; Nick Fouquet hats are on everyone’s christmas list; and Pharrell was king of collabs. A lot happened in the past few months but nonetheless these 10 celebrities have ruled the style kingdom this season and will surely entice you to revamp your wardrobe ASAP! Here are The Most Stylish Celebrities of 2014 So Far.
