The Most Stylish Football Players in Super Bowl 50

Beside making difficult catches on the field, Vernon Davis can pull off difficult outfits a normal person would get roasted for wearing. Peep the outfit above. Sometimes referred to as the Canadian tuxedo. A denim-on-denim outfit is one of the toughest style maneuvers to pull off, but he looks like he was born to wear it. Another risky move is the man bag, but he doesn’t mind rocking one with a gator skin design.

    FOLLOW

Cortland Finnegan is an intense competitor who sometimes can annoy his opponents enough to a point where they lose their cool and draw flags for unsportsmanlike conduct. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that he has the same intense behavior off the filed, because he might be the nicest guys in the league. He has mostly motivational quotes on his IG. But one picture will make you think he’s quite the sneakerhead, too. His collection of Yeezys will make you catch feelings.

He’s one of the best cornerbacks in the game and regularly brings the heat when he’s off the field too. Sometimes that means a pair of the Yeezy 750s. Sometimes that means hitting the function with (almost) the whole squad rocking Jordans.

The Denver Broncos running back’s personal style doesn’t change much when he’s off the field. Once he takes off his football jersey, Hillman throws on one of the many basketball jerseys in his collection. But his style arsenal is not limited to sports uniforms; he can switch it up to streetwear and clean up nice with tailored pieces as well.

Miller is an eccentric cat. From the dancing to his glasses to his headgear, the 6-3 defensive stud is constantly drawing attention away from the field. Miller is one of those rare players capable of combining explosive playmaking on the field with just as many noteworthy highlights off of it.

Cam Newton will likely be voted this year’s NFL MVP. But until that announcement, we might as well give him the style MVP out of all the players on this list and possibly the whole NFL. Like the rest, his style dabbles in a little bit of streetwear and tailored clothing. Depending on who you ask, he has had some style “What are thoose?” moments. Remember that whole raccoon tail incident? And he most recently just took Wiz Khalifa‘s crown for cool pants. The dabbing QB is clearly experimental when it comes to dressing, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Emmanuel Sanders is a deep threat who can leave opposing defenses in the dust. Off the field his style burns all others, too. Here he’s pulling of the monochromatic look to a T and putting together a perfect head-to-toe look of all the hottest trends. From the wide-brimmed hat to the jogger pants, this is something you will see on the runway. If there was such a thing as a style fantasy game, Sanders would be on the top of the draft board.

Everyone makes fun of jorts (jean shorts) but Jonathan Stewart doesn’t seem bothered because he’s pulling them off nicely. Plus, when you pair them with a fresh pair of Jordans and a go-to flannel button-up, you can’t go wrong. Here he is looking at all the haters.

If there’s one person on this list who probably spends a couple of hours a day reading style blogs it would have to be Demaryius Thomas. One look at this outfit and you will think he’s off to a New York Fashion Week show, or “dressed by the Internet.” That’s not a bad thing, either. We need more of winning outfits like this and less swag-less fits in the NFL.

Until a couple years ago, a Google search for stylish football players would bring up results of soccer players from Europe. That is no longer the case. With the rise of menswear and style blogs featuring the most fire jawnz around the world, men have upgraded their fits and have more confidence in dressing better. Now when you search those same keywords, NFL stars show up alongside soccer players in the results. Thankfully, the style of American football players is no longer stuck in a frozen tundra of six-button suits during draft day, and dad jeans off the field.

Some good examples of players around the league who are killing it off the field are Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown or New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman. And even with a strict uniform policy, one that even prohibits what color laces they can wear with their cleats, players still find a way to win style points on the field.

Though we would like to highlight who’s most improved since being drafted, we’re going to do something different. In the spirit of the upcoming Super Bowl 50, we’re going to highlight some of the more stylish players who made it to this year’s match. We already know they have what it takes to get to a championship, but these players know what it takes to earn street style cred as well.

There are a few faces you won’t recognize, since, you know, they wear helmets all the time, but there are also some superstars who are household names at this point. Take a look at the Most Stylish Football Players in Super Bowl 50.
