I went to a Catholic high school, and while we had a dress code, the school’s brass was pretty lenient on what we could wear. Basically, if you had a polo — and I’m talking ANY kind of polo — and some khaki pants — and I’m talking ANY size — you were good to go. Of course, the best part of the dress code was being able to wear any shoes I wanted. In high school, that meant Timberlands. White pairs. Black pairs. Brown pairs. Tan pairs. I wore Timbs every single day, in part because I was a massive Jason Williams fan and we all know how he felt about Timbs. (Who remembers the infamous “The Life” episode where we got a look at J-Will’s closet and it wasn’t anything but piles of boots and jeans?)
So forgive me for being super hyped today, but I can’t help it. The Susan G. Komen x Timberland 6-inch Premium Waterproof Boot is releasing tomorrow and I’m foaming at the mouth. I’ve never owned a pair of pink boots before and the quality on these — a pink nubuck upper, pink Taslan laces, and a printed Primaloft lining and anti-fatigue footbed — looks amazing.
To raise money for breast cancer awareness, the Susan G. Komen Foundation has teamed up with Timberland for this limited release, where $5 for each sale will go towards research (minimum $25,000 donation). The foundation’s icon is seen on the tongue, and the ribbon logo can be found on a metal lace tag.
This Saturday, the Susan G. Komen x Timberland 6-inch Premium Waterproof Boot will be dropping at Champs Sports in extremely limited fashion. Only six stores will carry it. Hit up the store locator to find a location near you. You won’t want to miss this, especially if you’re like me and can’t resist a dope pair of boots.
