Kyrie Irving and Cleveland hope to take the next step this year and win an NBA title. The point guard isn’t expected to be healthy and on the floor until January, but you know what? The team is deep enough to survive without him and, in some odd way, it might keep him fresh for the playoffs where they’ll almost certainly go back to the Finals and try to win it.
Irving has been a beast on the floor throughout his career and really only needs that ring to go to another level. Yet off the floor? With Kyrie’s amazing Nike Kyrie 1–a shoe that was one of the best first-year kicks this past season–he’s already one of the league’s most marketable players. Add in the former Dukie’s latest signature line and things are definitely looking up.
Kyrie Irving has teamed up with the underwear gods from PSD, and is creating a signature line that’ll work as both performance and casual styling off the floor. (You know it’s a new day when we’re now swaggin’ out our underwear.) Releasing at Champs Sports, the underwear designs include galaxy prints–a pair that Irving says he wore during 2014’s midseason classic when he won the All-Star MVP–flamingoes, and even some wild ones that feature pineapples.
In his latest PSD video with Champs Sports, Irving kicked knowledge on fashion. You see, Kyrie’s been all over the world, from the States to Australia, taking inspiration for his incredible talent from everything in his life. His PSD gear is now acting like a canvas for a journey that’s taken him from watching the All-Star Game on TV to playing in it to winning the game’s MVP.
Kyrie is one of the game’s flashiest players, an All-Star that can take your proverbial lunch money and make you look bad while doing it. His new PSD collection echoes that.
