It’s not every day that you can learn game from Lil Jon. Yet here he is, lounging in a chair next to a shoe wall, rocking the iconic adidas Stan Smith and reading from “The Book of Game.” We’re on set at Siren Studios on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood and there’s not a single person in the dimmed room that’s containing their laughter. It’s funny because it’s ironic. The man behind the “Turn Down For What” anthem actually can bequeath some originality on everyone. And soon he won’t be the only one doing the teaching.
In the age of social media gurus and NBA players-turned-reporters, today, Champs Sports and adidas are introducing their latest campaign called adicolorTV. The first ever original series produced exclusively for Instagram, meant to be a tongue-in-cheek sampling of the actual TV landscape, adicolorTV will showcase comedy content throughout the season with some of the sporting and entertainment world’s biggest names like Robert Griffin III, DeMarco Murray, Von Miller, and Lil Jon. RGIII, Jon, and Von hosting a newsroom show as The Stans? Lil Jon as a high school chemist? Von Miller teaching you his signature celebration dances? You’ll see it all. There will even be an animated series with Lil Jon, and product features giving you an exclusive look at what the athletes think about new adidas products like the SL Loop Runner, the RGIII Energy Boost, the C-10, and the Stan Smith.
