Icon: Wiz Khalifa’s Been Stylin’ in a “Blacc Hollywood”

The past few weeks we’ve had artists on the cusp of blowing up, but I guarantee you know this Pittsburgh native already. Well actually, Wiz Khalifa was born in North Dakota with a dad who was in the military. He moved to Germany, England, and Japan before moving to the home of the Steelers and Pirates, although I think it’s pretty clear where his loyalty resides. After all, one of his most popular songs to date is “Black and Yellow,” repping the ‘burg. His career has been nothing but success up to this point, and the release of his latest project — Blacc Hollywood — arrived at No. 1 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 with sales in excess of 90,000. (Wiz’s first time ever at the top of the overall chart.)

If you take a step back from his music, Wiz has also made quite the statement recently with his style. First and foremost, when you look at this picture with Snoop Dogg from his Instagram you have to notice the most recent change: His purple dreadlocks. Once you get past the hair, it’s onto his tats. Surprisingly, Wiz is fully clothed, but it doesn’t stop you from seeing his tattoos. He got his first tattoo at age 16 and has had an “artistic vision for his skin” ever since.

So we’ve locked down two staples of Wiz’s look. Third and fourth we have a black bandana and denim of some type. The bandana you can almost count on at this point, and the denim can either be in the form of jeans or a jacket. We got blessed with both in this case. From his head down you can always count on something special from Wiz.

Be sure to check out the new album and keep watch over his style because who knows what he’s gonna surprise us with next.
