Talk about an Icon with style. We’ve had a lot of those, but Juicy J really brings home what this series is all about. Someone who cares about how they look while doing what they love.
The 39-year-old from North Memphis, Tennessee, hasn’t slowed down making music and certainly hasn’t let his style slip in the process. Coming off the hype of his track “Low” with Nicki Minaj, Lil Bibby, and Young Thug — which has reached nearly 10 million plays on SoundCloud, Juicy J just dropped a new record with K Camp titled “All I Need,” which is shaping up to be another banger.
In any ordinary scenario, having a song with 10 million plays would earn you at least some acknowledgement, but remember, in order to lock down an Icon spot, an entertainer’s style has to be just as worthy. If you’re one of the millions of people who have watched the music video for his “Low” record then you’ve already witnessed one of the key elements to Juicy J’s style: Gold. Whether it’s chains, watches, or tees, it’s always present.
Take a look at the picture below from his ‘gram. What stands out? Is it the white crew-neck? Maybe the black pants? The adidas Yeezy Boosts? Or the consistency of the gold accessories? Regardless, we can both probably agree that Juicy J is not one to mess with when it comes to his style. At Champs Sports, we take our sneakers pretty seriously and we admire that Juicy J does the same. (A few weeks ago he posted a picture on his Instagram of the Jordan Laser IV.)
Going forward, try your best to get on Juicy J’s level when it comes to your look.
