Icon: French Montana Is at the Top of His Game in 2015

This week’s Icon was born in Morocco, but comes to us by way of New York. French Montana has been an icon in the world of hip-hop for quite some time now. The 30-year-old released his debut album Excuse My French back in 2013 and the production and flow really set the tone for all the French Montana tracks, remixes, and features we’ve been blessed with ever since.

But, honestly, it’s this dude’s style that goes above and beyond his music. Who can rock this and then head over and look this good in joggers while copping the Air Jordan X? The answer: Probably the same dude who bought two baby tigers. But whether it’s a plain white tee complemented by gold chains (as seen below) or Yeezy Boosts with an all-black outfit, he still has to backup his look with some solid music…which is exactly what he has recently done.

Remember our previous Icon Fetty Wap and his hit track, “Trap Queen?” Well, French Montana dropped an insane remix that I’ve heard on the radio more times than the original. Aside from that remix, French also just dropped a hit single with Jeremih, which showcases more of the classic French Montana flow that makes you feel like you’re cooler than you know you actually are. (Okay, maybe that’s just me.) Either way, French has been killing everything he sets out to accomplish both on the style and musical front. From hit tracks to Instagram flicks that make you want to head over to Champs Sports and attempt to figure out your own style, French Montana is more than worthy of our Icon spot this week.
