Styles Upon Styles: Big K.R.I.T. Knows How to Rock the Air Jordan 3

This week’s Icon is an artist who makes “it cool to be southern.” The 28-year-old Mississippian just released his latest album in early November, titled Cadillactica, and it alone is a worthy reason for Big K.R.I.T. to become a King Remembered In Time. To be honest, I don’t think his album got deserving praise; I understand that some people don’t like the “southern feel” to his music, but truthfully you have to look deeper than that. Every song on the whole project is heartfelt with incredible production, with some huge features ranging from Wiz Khalifa to A$AP Ferg to E-40. You can tell that K.R.I.T. really cares about his music and the message it conveys, not to mention his appreciation for his fans. You don’t buy it? Then I suggest you literally buy it, and listen.

Big K.R.I.T.’s style is just about as killer as his music. His wardrobe, from head to toe, is usually black. But don’t let the single color scheme fool you; he knows how to make it look incredible by consistently adding gold chains or some kicks. Look at this flick from the end of November with YG — he’s rockin’ all black with a gold chain and a pair of Jordan “Sport Blue” IIIs. Just like his music, Big K.R.I.T has a style that is too raw not to admire. You better check him out if you haven’t already.
