Want to play like Kyrie Irving? You’ll probably never cut people up like he does off the bounce in Cleveland. You can rocks the kicks, though. The latest colorway of the Nike Kyrie 1 is one that the player often wears during home games, where he routinely wrecks the competition with crazy handles. Dropping tomorrow at Champs Sports, the shoe features a white mesh upper, along with red and black accenting along the branding, inner lining, and tongue, as well as douses of red and grey along the teeth of the midsole. It’s an especially clean and elaborate look for this shoe, which makes sense considering how smooth Irving’s game is whenever he plays at home.
In Cleveland, Irving might average less points than he does on the road, but he shoots 48 percent from the floor and nearly 46 percent from deep, all while seeing his turnovers drop and his assists turn up. Just like his first signature sneaker from Nike, there’s a lot to love in his game.
After seeing his shoe release in wild, futuristic colorways like the “Dream” and “Flytrap,” it makes sense that the Swoosh would stay grounded with this one. Already one of the best performance sneakers of the season, the shoe is also a hit with the sneakerheads out there who like to wear their kicks off the court. Between the midsole teeth, the clean upper, that sick logo, and the in-your-face texturing along the heel that’s directly inspired by Australian architecture, it’s no wonder people are loving the Kyrie 1.
With the “Home” colorway dropping just in time for a deep playoff run with the Cavs, make sure to cop if you’re a true fan.
