Considered one of Nike‘s most agile training shoes, the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 is not only stylish enough to wear out in 2015 — whether you’re running, at the gym, doing any type of workout, or just going out on the town — but it also sports the tech we’re all looking for. At exactly 9.9 ounces in a men’s size 10, it features criss-crossing nanoply bands across the forefoot, as well as a support-evolved nanoply upper with dual-pull design. The outsole has a DiamondFlex pattern specifically designed for multi-directional movement while the dual-density midsole has Nike Free flex grooves. The aforementioned outsole’s hexagonal flex grooves are a first, and are meant to help athletes move more naturally and fluidly. Add in a heel promoting greater control through an anatomically-shaped design and this fit is both comfortable and supportive.
First unveiled about a year ago, the shoe was designed specifically to cater to cross-training men and those who had strength and cardio training at the top of their minds.
That’s why the latest colorways available from Champs Sports are must-cops. Releasing today, there are three new colorways of the Free Trainer 5.0, all of them fading from white to another single color. It’s a unique look, and one that’ll surely have you drawing some double-looks from fellow gym-goers whenever you’re out.
