Sneakerheads, assemble! After ending the year off strong with the Air Jordan XI “Legend Blue,” Jordan Brand is keeping up the momentum in 2015 with the Air Jordan IV “Legend Blue.” The “Columbia” IVs — as they were known back in the day — will be the first remastered Jordan of the new year. The Jordan Brand stated the goal is to have the remastered versions match the original specs of each sneaker model, and from what we can see, these look nearly spot on to the 1999 pair.
This time around, the midnight navy sections are looking darker than normal, hitting the midsole, outsole, and lining as well. The model is also draped in white tumbled leather, and the Jumpman on the tongue is stitched in powder blue, finished off with perforations on the panels. This pair doesn’t forget any of the details, as it looks to be very true to its OG form, but with a modern twist as the Jordan Brand will carry superior materials onto the model. Check out the hi-res pics below to get a better sense of detail and similarities between the 2015 model and OG pair.
After 16 years of being kept on ice, the classic Air Jordan IV “Columbia” is making its long-awaited comeback. If you’re looking for something to spend your Christmas money on, the “Legend Blue” IVs are the best option. They released today at Champs Sports, so sneakerheads, start off 2015 the right way and add these bad boys to your arsenal. It’s a classic sneaker that everyone has to have in their rotation no matter what.
