A Visual History: Kevin Durant’s Signature Moments

Now that the basketball season has officially ended, I would like to talk about the MVP. I’m talking about last season’s MVP, Kevin Durant. There is no question that KD is one of the best basketball players on the planet. Unfortunately, his 2014-2015 season was plagued by injuries and Lil B.

The kid is only 26 years old and has a lot of basketball left in his tank. Don’t count Kevin Durant out yet. As a fan I hope he stays healthy for the rest of his career. It would be amazing to see him and Stephen Curry battle in the West year after year. A healthy Thunder team against the reigning NBA champion Warriors in a 7-game series could go either way, every time.

Durant has had a pretty interesting story. He was born in Washington, D.C., was a heavily recruited high school player, went to Texas for one year, and then has been playing for the same team ever since they drafted him second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft. KD raps, acts, and, most importantly, is a strong business man. The man seems to be endorsing a different product every day. I mean, his last seven tweets are all promoting a brand he is directly tied to.

Last season, KD became a meme sensation while giving his MVP speech, crying to the crowd, calling his mom the real MVP for raising him and his siblings as a single mother. This was just one significant moment in the young career of Kevin Durant. Scroll through the timeline as we take you through the rest of Kevin Durant’s Signature Moments.
