Check out her doing it on the ‘gram and tell us she ain’t keeping it 100. There’s no way your sneaker game is touching hers, especially if we’re talking Jordans. She also gets mad respect for not caring about a little yellowing.

A New York City designer that doesn’t care what you think, she spreads the love around from Jordan to even Li-Ning. You can tell she’s been in the game for a long time too by some of the sneakers she rocks on the daily.

That name says it all. She gets extra style points for keeping her allegiance to mostly Nike Basketball. Anyone can go for the hype and rock Jordans; @thesneakermom is a little different. Those Nerf KD IVs are top notch.

Back when they released in 2006, I remember copping the Green Bean 5s and wondering why I bought them. They were way ahead of their time, in terms of the colors and the reflective material. Then I saw this picture and realized that, yes, it’s possible to pull them off.

A French girl that has love for Jordans? It doesn’t get better than that. Plus, anyone who knows the European sneaker scene knows they love their runners and trainers, and @lily_morena has racks on racks on racks of those.

A former star subject of The Stash, Janelle is a huge fan of the Jordan 3 and the Reebok Question. She also doesn’t believe female sneakerheads get the respect they deserve, saying, “A lot of people look down on us, especially on a lot of the newbies that are coming in. But I really hope they let us branch out just like they did, give us the knowledge and hopefully that will work towards keeping the sneaker community strong.”

It’s one thing to have Jordans. Everyone who calls themselves a sneakerhead has Jordans. It’s another thing to rock trainers, and collect them. This chick has trainers and runners of all brands stacked up in her room, and she actually wears them too! How unique.

This chick might have the best collection on this whole list. Sticking with mostly trainers and runners, she knows her stuff and isn’t about the hype. She might be from across the pond, but we can feel her heat from here. (Girl has nearly 4,000 Instagram posts!)

It’s 2014. Sneaker culture is mainstream. And while there have been female sneakerheads for as long as we’ve had sneakerheads, many of them are just now starting to get the respect they deserve.

“It’s been a long struggle up until the last couple of years where my boys shoes are now cool,” says Natasha Tsuji, the girl behind @lovetasha. “They are girls shoes too. All of these celebrities rock my boys basketball shoes now too.”

This summer, The Drop started The Stash, a periodical showcasing some of the world’s greatest sneaker collections. But while it’s easy to find guys like @jonallon80 and @theinfader — okay, it’s not THAT easy…their collections are out of this world — we didn’t want to forget about the ladies either. Women like Bermuda-bred Sophia Thompson and West Coast-repping Janelle Morgan are Instagram pioneers, taking over the game and kicking sneaker knowledge to their thousands of followers. Let’s face it: A female sneakerhead automatically gets points for being different, even if there are a lot more of them than you probably realize. So when you find one you can respect, you can’t help but hit that like button.

The Nike LeBron 12 launches later this year at Champs Sports this weekend, and while Jordans are still the preferred sneaker for all women — from my experience, I’d say that’s even more the case with women than it is with men — I can guarantee you’ll see more than a few females rocking the King’s latest signature shoe this fall and winter.

In honor of how far sneaker culture has come, we’re highlighting 25 Females Who Have More Sneaker Heat Than You.
