Sorry E-40, but there’s a new “Ambassador of the Bay” and it’s pretty obvious that it’s Stephen Curry. Cinderella-story-turned-staple-of-greatness, Curry, after turning in the perfect season, keeps blessing us again and again with one of the most heralded new sneaker designs of recent memory, the Curry One from Under Armour. More than just riding the wave of a championship, the Curry One Low is a shoe deserving of all its popularity in the sneaker world, in part because of UA’s awesome Charged Cushioning and Anafoam technology. (It helps that it looks pretty good, too.)
To give back to fans of the Bay Area comes the release of the Curry One Low in the iconic silver and black colorway of Oakland. Fans of the storied football team can only wish some of Curry’s good ju-ju will rub off on their beloved squad, yet either way at least the kicks are hot, right?
While Curry’s loyalty might be locked in with the Bay, he’s made it no secret that his heart, in terms of football, is with Carolina. To honor the 2-a-days training camp practices of his beloved football team, Curry and Under Armour present a special grey colorway that will definitely have some heads turning an eye at. The MVP grew up in Charlotte and played college ball locally there at Davidson. In January, he posted a picture of himself and his wife on the sidelines of a game in full Carolina getup.
Both colorways of the Curry One Low are available now at your local Champs Sports, so take a look and cop…maybe even get both.
